How do I choose between the Link Partner and Pro Partner plans?
Consider your current business needs and growth goals. If you need essential tools and support to get started, the Link Partner plan is a great choice. You can always start with our free plan to get going, then upgrade once your team grows or if you are looking for additional support. If you want enhanced back-office features and additional customization, the Pro Partner plan might be more suitable.
What type of business would benefit most from the Link Partner plan?
The Link Partner plan is ideal for agents or small teams looking to manage their business efficiently without spending much to get off the ground. It's perfect for those just starting and wanting a streamlined experience.
Do I have to recruit agents?
We do not require partners to recruit any agents if they do not want to. We have plenty of partners who are solo agents or have only 1 or 2 team members.
What should I consider regarding subscription revenue?
If you plan to charge your team agents a monthly fee, remember that you'll receive 80% of that income. This is often done if you offer additional services, support, mentorships, office space, etc., and can be a significant revenue stream, especially if you have a larger team.
Am I allowed to offer property management services?
We allow select partners to offer property management services through Link Brokerages. This decision will be handled on a case by case scenario and will depend on the partner's prior experience.
Am I allowed to offer mortgage services in addition to real estate services?
We allow select partners to offer mortgage services through First Link Mortgage. This decision will be handled on a case by case scenario and will depend on the partner's prior experience.
What ongoing fees do my agents have to pay?
That is up to you! Link does not charge team agents any recurring fees, but you are able to set their membership fees through our platform.
How do I manage my team?
You will be able to track team KPIs, build your coaching & onboarding program, and have access to all agent deals within the Link platform. Your account manager will help train you on best practices when managing your team.
What tools do my agents receive from Link?
All agents have access to our proprietary back office system, including our encrypted deal rooms, performance tracker, and task manager. In addition all agents receive a CRM to effortlessly manage clients, around the clock support from Link, and any other tools you will be providing as their team lead.
What ongoing fees do my agents have to pay?
That is up to you! Link does not charge team agents any recurring fees, but you are able to set their membership fees through our platform.
How do I get paid at closing?
You have two ways to be paid. First, you can request a CDA 3 days prior to closing and the closing company can send two separate checks, one to you and one to Link. Second, you can have the entire check sent to Link and we will direct deposit your portion of the commission to your account.
Does Link provide TC services?
Yes, Link has partnered TCs who offer their services to agents through our platform. TCs are paid directly and fees vary based on the state and type of transaction.
How does the DBA filing work?
If you require a DBA filing, you will need to be part of the Pro Partner plan. Otherwise, you will be required to keep a "Powered by Link" mark on your marketing material. If you decide to go the Pro route, we can file a DBA for you to operate independently under your brand.
What are the qualification requirements?
Qualification is 10 sales or $4 million in gross volume in the last 12 months. We have this limit set to ensure the quality of agents operating and managing teams. However, we do make special exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Reach out to find out more.
